Two things on the horizon are worth tracking now, because they will change traffic patterns and reservation availability on Old 41:
HoneyHole Downtown is expected to open in early 2027, adding to the growing dining and entertainment options along Old 41. The concept, from the Sugarshack team, is a live-music-driven restaurant. Same owner is also building Telephone North and South, full-scale restaurants with indoor and outdoor dining. That's three new rooms from one operator in roughly the same corridor, which is either evidence of a downtown thesis playing out on schedule or a leading indicator that parking is about to get worse. Probably both.

- Friday, 9:30 p.m. — Walk to Sugarshack for whatever band is on. If it's free that night, even better.
- Saturday, 9 a.m. — Downtown Bonita Springs Walking History Tour, if you've never done it. It's short and it recontextualizes Old 41 in a way that makes the new openings feel less like a rupture and more like a return.
